Casa Mech Hotel - Isla Holbox

Consider taking one of the 4wd taxi buggies from the ferry terminal for easier transport to the hotel, especially if you have luggage.

The rooms were perfectly clean and lovely romantic with a very comfortable bed kept by the HELPFUL staff. I really enjoyed that there were lots of facilities in the room such as: climate control, a seating area and a work desk. The location of the hotel was stunning - a 10-15 minute walk from Playa Holbox.

The staff was affable and superfriendly and the place was clean. The location offered was lovely and particularly good very close to the main square of restaurants and bars, the nature, and all the bars and restaurants. Furthermore, it was at a medium distance from St Paul's Church. The hotel provided fair prices: )

Unfortunately, my room was too dark and lacked natural light. The presence of mosquitoes was quite bothersome, especially near the ground floor. The noise from the pool waterfall was disruptive at times.

Had double room with toiletries, a very comfortable bed, terrace to ensure we had a lovely stay.

The hotel is beautifully designed, and the rooms are so comfortable. We loved sitting on the rooftop terrace with freshly brewed coffee, and Mauricio was a fantastic host, providing us great local tips. The location is perfect, a short walk to everything but still peaceful.

I loved how beautiful the area was! The staff were super friendly. Had a small breakfast every morning, perfect. Just wish the wifi was a bit better. It was spotty sometimes. Great vibe and totally worth it!

Couple hidden gem

I must say, the hosts were very nice , going out of their way to give us tips on the best local spots and in-viting us to a small birthday celebration with cake. The room wassuper clean and cozy, and the rooftop pool was just what we needed after a day exploring.

It was a bit pricey , but we could live with that.

The hosts, Mauricio and Irais, were cute and provided helpful local recommendations.

Cleanliness stood out, with refreshing water always available and a beautiful rooftop terrace that provided a perfect spot for relaxation. The stylish design of the room made for an inviting atmosphere, while the little pool became our go-to escape after days spent exploring. Unfortunately, the room lacked natural light and was a bit noisy at times, which hindered relaxation. Some minor issues, like spotty Wi-Fi.
